Website Accessibility
The Gathering Event Venue ("we", "us", "The venue") is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet recognized web accessibility standards so everyone can explore, inquire, and book with ease.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. This site is built on the Wix platform, which maintains its own WCAG 2.1 AA compliance program. Our accessibility efforts are ongoing. We regularly review and update our content to address any gaps.
This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also [remove irrelevant information]:
-

-
Set the language of the site
-
Set the content order of the site’s pages
-
Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages
-
Added alternative text to images
-
Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast
-
Reduced the use of motion on the site
-
Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible
What We've Done
Readable text & contrast
Text and background color combinations are chosen to meet minimum contrast ratios, making content readable for users with low vision or color blindness.
Keyboard navigation
All interactive elements — menus, links, forms, and buttons — are accessible via keyboard so users who cannot use a mouse can navigate the full site.
Image alt text
Images throughout the site include descriptive alternative text so screen reader users can understand visual content.
Clear page structure
Pages use logical heading levels (H1, H2, H3) and semantic markup so assistive technologies can accurately describe and navigate the page layout.
Responsive design
The site is fully responsive and works across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, including with screen magnification up to 200% without loss of content.
Accessible forms
Our contact and booking forms include clearly labeled fields and descriptive error messages to assist users of screen readers and voice input tools.
The accessibility of certain pages on the site depend on contents that do not belong to or were not designed within the bounds of this site, and instead belong to HoneyBook - our event booking site. The following pages are affected by this:
We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for these pages.
Known Limitations
While we aim for full accessibility, some third-party tools and embedded content (such as our scheduling and booking portal) are managed by external providers. We work with those providers to encourage accessible design, but cannot guarantee full compliance on all third-party pages.
If you encounter a barrier on any part of our site or booking process, please contact us — we will help you complete your request by phone or email.
Report an Issue
Accessibility is not a one-time fix — it's a commitment. We conduct periodic accessibility reviews and update our content and structure as issues are identified. This statement was last reviewed in June 2026.
If you experience any difficulty accessing content on our website, or if you need information in an alternative format, please reach out. We take all feedback seriously and will respond within 3 business days.
